Types of Floor Use

  1. Private Lessons - Instructor with 1 or 2 students, scheduled as needed by the instructor        

  2. Group Classes - Instructor with  multiple students, regularly scheduled by the instructor

  3. Events - Various dance-related activities, may or may not include instruction, scheduled once, occassionally, or regularly by an organizer

  4. Practice - 1 or more students practicing on their own, no instructor, scheduled regularly or as needed by a practice group representative

  5. Other - We are open to other activities that are friendly to our floor. Examples include: rehearsals for plays or musicals, meditation, music classes, organizational meetings, etc. Call us to see if your needs can be met at Kaleidoscope!

Floor Use Requirements

 

  • All floor use requires a completed and signed client registration form to be on file.

  • A contract specifying dates, times, deposits, and floor use fees is required for all events, activities, and group classes.

  • A non-refundable deposit which will be applied to the floor fees is required for all non-repeating events and activities. The time slot will not be reserved until the deposit has been paid.

  • A non-refundable monthly deposit which will be applied to the floor fees is required for all recurring or regularly scheduled events, activities, and classes. The deposit is due by the 25th of the prior month in order to have the time slots for the following month reserved.

  • Liability insurance is strongly recommended for all instructors and event/activity organizers. Students are covered under our liability insurance, however instructors, organizers, and their staff are not.
