Luisa is a professional ballroom dance instructor, competitor, and choreographer. She works full time as an instructor teaching private lessons and group classes. She teaches a weekly beginner friendly “Ballroom Drills” class at Kaleidoscope. There's nowhere she'd rather be than showing off her hard-working students to friends and family.

About the course

Beginner friendly class for individuals. The foundational skills of ballroom dance are taught and practiced repetitively. Most skills are useful in all types of dance.

The skills taught include
- proper body alignment and foot position
- flexibility of hips, spine, neck, and shoulders
- balance: stationary and while moving
- foot strength and activation
- back strength and arm position for proper personal frame
- much more
